We often get asked "Why did you give up nursing?" This always makes us laugh because we are all still nurses! We just happen to care for your health and wellbeing from the toes up!

Maintenance of good foot health is vital to your overall health. As we age, our feet change and can cause many a problem which can affect your balance, how you walk and your confidence. Unfortunately, we often don't give our feet the attention they need until they start to hurt. Our feet can also tell us a lot about your general health. When you have a visit from a FEET2U Nurse, you are getting more than footcare. Your nurse can discuss any other health concerns you may have and can help you to get the information you need.

For Service Providers, we are a Community Nursing Company that can be engaged for task related activities. We are only too happy to help out with conducting Comprehensive assessments, wound care or even PAS testing for demential supplement. If you need a nurse, give us a call on 1300 333 828.

Our team currently service all suburbs and areas in Southern Tasmania, Nort and North West Tasmania.

So How Much Does It Cost?

As a private business, we are not entitled to any assistance from the government so our costs do have to cover all of our business expenses as well. We do our best to keep our services affordable and accessible. When a visit to an appointment means that you have to pay a carer to go with you, catch a taxi or have a friend or relative take time out from work to take you, sometimes we work out to be the cheaper option! And there are no waiting rooms to sit in - you don't even have to get out of your comfy chair!

Our first visit does cost a little more than ongoing care because we have never met your feet before and we need to do a full assessment. The ongoing costs will depend on the complexity of your care and how long the care will take. The average visit is about 30 minutes. We are happy to travel, but may have to add travel expenses to the visit cost. A call to our friendly reception staff on 1300 333 828 will answer all of your questions. We offer services Monday through Friday during business hours but are happy to arrange visits out of these times if required by negotiation.

As we are a nursing service and NOT podiatrists, there is the occasional foot that is beyond our scope of practice. In this case, we will refer you to specialist care and often we are able to work collaboratively with your specialist to maintain your foot health. We also work closely with your GP for a team approach to Chronic Disease management and maintenance of foot health.

Unfortunately, as a nursing service, we are not rebatable under Medicare, DVA or most Private Health Funds, but our clients find the convenience of a home visit outweighs any such benefit.
